Compatibility matters, condition matters, and clarity matters. This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand, while also ensuring products remain safe, genuine, and resellable for other customers.
Please read this policy carefully so you know what to expect if you need a return, refund, or exchange.
Return Eligibility Period
Our return policy is valid for 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery.
Products Eligible for Return
Because many automotive products are wear-and-tear, safety-critical, or installation-sensitive, returns are accepted only under specific conditions.
To be eligible for a return:
- • The product must be incompatible with the vehicle selected at the time of purchase, or
- • The product must be defective or damaged at the time of delivery
Additionally, the product must:
- • Be unused, uninstalled, unsoiled, and in original condition
- • Be in original brand packaging, with all labels, seals, manuals, and accessories intact
- • Be resellable without any loss of value
Brakeup reserves the right to inspect and verify all returned products before approving a return.
Products Not Eligible for Return
Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:
- • The product functions as intended and performs correctly
- • The product has been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery
- • Original packaging is missing or damaged
- • The return request is made after the 14-day window
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return:
- 1. Log in to your Brakeup account
- 2. Go to the Orders section
- 3. Select the relevant order and raise a return request with proper reason and details
Once the request is raised, our team will guide you through the next steps.
Return Inspection & Approval
- • Once the returned product reaches the seller or warehouse, it will be carefully inspected
- • You will be notified regarding receipt of the returned item and the return or refund request
Refunds
- • The refund will be processed after inspection
- • Refunds will be issued in one of the following ways:
- • Original payment method (for prepaid orders)
- • Bank account (for Cash on Delivery orders)
- • Non-transferable Brakeup store credit coupon
Refunds are typically processed within 2-14 days from approval, depending on bank and payment gateway timelines.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund:
- 1. Please check your bank account again
- 2. Contact your bank or payment provider, as processing times may vary
- 3. If the issue persists, reach out to us

Exchanges
We offer exchanges only in the following cases:
- • The product is incompatible with your vehicle
- • The product is defective
- • The product is damaged during delivery
Exchange conditions:
- • Requests must be raised within 14 days of delivery
- • The product must meet all return eligibility conditions
- • Exchanges are processed after inspection approval

Shipping Costs for Returns & Exchanges
- • Shipping charges are non-refundable
- • If a refund is approved, return shipping costs will be deducted
- • Exchange delivery timelines may vary depending on location and availability
